Very beautiful pair of candleholders Louis XVI style, from the second half of the 19th.
Manufacturing bronze, original gilding in very good condition. White marble base; some wear including 3 small tears on the rear of the candleholders, therefore not visible from the front (see last photo).
The winged putti carry the light arms. They're finely decorated with acanthus leaves, vine branches and laurel branches.
The
candleholders
base is enriched with a scroll and pearls.
The bronzes are finely hand-chiseled, a guarantee of high manufacturing quality.
Note on a light arm, a slight deformation but not serious for the harmony of the set (see penultimate photo).
