These are now getting sought after and have a real following (check the Facebook groups for these) therefore prices are rising. Good used condition, starts, runs, rides, and has MOT until October.
I got this as a 'garage find' bike. It was cleaned and had some missing/ wrong parts replaced before prepping for MOT which it passed with an advisory on the lights (now sorted). Having ridden it a a bit I have decided I need a more road friendly version of a similar thing.
It is not getting the usage I anticipated and now needs a little bit of setting up again following a winter break in riding, so it is being sold as 'a great running project wanting minor work'. (It sometimes bogs down or cuts out requiring a restart, since being winter stored). Probably needs the carb setting up??
This is the stripped down Enduro version with no battery to save weight. The lights and horn (loud) are powered direct from the running engine. These are known as really competent, durable and robust off roaders with 'upside down' forks, reasonable suspension height and low weight. As a low mileage model (figures in KM so 28500km translates as under 18000 miles!!)
A really great project and opportunity for someone who is good at basic maintenance and setting up simple motorcycles to gain a versatile and fun machine that will be seen as a classic enduro soon (1991 year model). This bike comes with a Clymer workshop manual.
The bike is in Bournemouth (South coast - near Southampton for the uninitiated!). Poss open to part exchange with cash either way if you have something of interest (within Ebay rules etc.)
