To give you an explanation of the options you have available:
V10 SV12 - The Dyson V10 was a huge step forward from the older V8 design. Still today a fantastic model, but with a smaller battery capacity and suction compared to the V11. An excellent choice on a tight budget or for anyone wanting to upgrade from their old V models.
V11 SV14 - This is the first Generation V11 with a screw in battery type. An excellent award winning machine. Capable of cleaning even a large house on one charge (on medium power)
V11 SV15 - The Second Generation V11 with a new clip in battery (you can purchase additional battery and swap at your leisure like any battery power tool) - The only time personally i have found this useful was when i was vacuuming a vehicle on high mode as i could swap out the battery and carry-on vacuuming without having to stop and wait for it to charge.
V11 Outsize SV16 - Third Generation V11 Model. It features a larger dust bin, filter and clip in battery. It has a soft grip to make it more comfy to hold for long periods. It also uses a wider carpet head. If your budget allows to get the latest version however it makes sense as it has a large bin capacity which means less emptying. The ability to use a wider carpet head means you can clean more surface area compared to previous models.
SV19 Omni-Glide - This is the best grab & go vacuum on the market. Super small, flexible and only weighing 1.9kg the dyson Omni-glide is a top cleaner for hard floors. Perfect for use in apartments or for smaller spills. Designed for modern living, the Omnidirectional fluffy head dashes around furniture and slides under sofas, making it the easiest to move around.
V12 Slim Detect SV20 - This unit has all the same toys of it's big brother the V15 Detect, but weighs just 2.2kg. Making it Dyson's most powerful, lightweight cordless vacuum cleaner.
V15 Detect SV22 - The Dyson V15 Detect takes raw power for a cordless vacuum to a whole new level. It has some smart features, making it far easier to use. A particle sensor, shows how much dirt is being collected and lets the vacuum adjust its power automatically. A clever laser highlights dirt on the hard floors and being only 3.08kg making is easy enough to move around and light enough to clean up high without a struggle.
