Headway HD-108 OK961

About
HeadwayHD-108

Judging from the label, this guitar appears to have been made in the early 80's.

The side and back are made of plywood, but they have been played for many years and have a good sound.
Considering the price at the time, I feel that it is a highly complete model at an affordable price.

The wood specifications were selected with Martin in mind, but the sound is rather calm,
It has versatility regardless of genre.
It is particularly recommended for stroke styles with a pick, as it is well-balanced and the sound grains are easy to align.
Since there is no truss rod, it is made with a more vintage Martin in mind than the regular lineup.

Also, although there are some scratch marks commensurate with its age, the cool look typical of vintage guitars has an appeal that newer guitars don't have.

Old Headway guitars are becoming harder to find each year due to their popularity.
