This is a really neat rare low mintage 1985 British Virgin Islands dolphin fish coin pendant One of less than $1,379 minted

This Is approximately 28 mm  coin pendant is made of sterling silver with gold over top. Is literally a gold filled high quality product that will last a lifetime and then another one and so on.

The coin pendant is set on a 20-in gold filled over sterling silver chain.

The dolphin fish was chosen by Queen Elizabeth for this design.

The queen is seen on the reverse of the coin pendant.

The aquatic and bird life as well as all the animal life of the islands was extremely important to the queen and she wisely chose endangered and beautiful animals of the Caribbean for The coinage of the Virgin Islands

The queen did this with conservation of mine for the islands so the people would remember to protect the animals that have been there for longer than we have.
