this is a lot of 2 original 14" reels, they are the original 16mm kodachrome films taken by the crew at the Burton Holmes travelogues, that were used for audiotirium projection and documentaries, even though i do not believe these were used or projected, or very minimally used, since they are the originals, and of course they woudn't run the chance on ruining the film running it thru a projector before a copy was made!
the film is in very good shape overall, they do have some splices in them and some of the tape holding it is dry and came loose, so it really should be inspected and properly spliced before being run thru a projector!
the reels have almost no vigar smell or very minimal if any! the images are very sharp in general with excellent color, i do not see a sound strip on the film, so i am unsure if it has sound, i tend to think it is silent?
the film is solid, has no curling, not twisted, no moisture involved and no funny smells!
