Eco Estate Jewelry of Austin is pleased to offer you this Sterling Silver Naja Pendant!

Description:

This sweet Navajo pendant is a beautiful classic! The naja features a bright natural turquoise set on an openwork sandcast design.

On an interesting note the word "naja" means "crescent" in Navajo, the symbol itself likely arrived via the Spanish in the late 16th century. It might have originated from Moorish culture, where it appeared on horse bridle ornaments as protection against the "evil eye."

Today the naja is seen as a spiritual symbol in Navajo and Pueblo tribes often offering the wearer protection, balance, fertility, and/or a greater spiritual connection.

A wonderful gift for yourself or someone you love!
