Authenticity Provenance: Not purchased new, but the following details demonstrate the tie's authenticity.
- Tip lining matches the background color of the tie.
- “11 to 5” twill direction (look closely, it’s hard to photograph)
- Tie tack is nearly the same color as the tie
- Definitive Dove-Tail fold in the back where the edges meet
- Single thread loop under the fold (see photos)
- Fabric Tie-Keeper Loop, attached at 4 points
- Hermes logo is woven into the thin blade side (not a patch)
- The Logo’s carriage wheels have 6 spokes on the tie keeper loop and 5 spokes on the woven slim-blade logo. (A hallmark of genuine ties and a complex detail often missed in knock-offs)
- Authentic Pattern Mark on the back edge of the slim blade (“MADE IN FRANCE” is Sans Serif / Artist initials are Serif… etc)
