Genuine BMW replacement HFM for N20 turbo 4-cylinder (228i/328i/428i/528i X3/X4), S55 twin-turbo 6-cylinder (M2/M3/M4), and S63TU twin-turbo V8 (M5/M6/X5M/X6M).

The airflow sensor or HFM (Hot Film Meter) is hugely important in the performance and fuel economy of the engine. Faulty airflow sensors usually cause rough running, poor idle, lack of performance, misfires, and higher fuel consumption. There may also be fault codes and check engine lights for air:fuel mixture, lean conditions, rich conditions, misfires, and others.

This is an OEM N20, S55, and S63TU manufactured by Bosch - the original supplier to BMW for this part, as well as many other sensors. As the OEM it meets all of BMW's original design, fitment, and performance requirements and is TUV approved. OEM parts are the best alternative to more expensive Original BMW parts because they are virtually identical without the inflated price tag.
