This cab has a bit of matrix showing through.  But the turquoise that does appear is such a glorious look in the color that defines Carico. A very mineral rich area causes this consistent coloration feature.  And it is beautiful.

So much has been made of the apple green turquoise nuggets that made the mine famous - people don't know that high quality turquoise from this mine is somewhat rare.  I've got some really nice material in my collection which I cut from.

About my collection, it was my grandfather's which he gave to me when he passed.  He was extensively collecting from the late 50s to the 80s.  Because of him, I've got some really nice material from dozens of mines throughout the Southwest.

A unique stone from a legendary mine.  Jeweler's grade and very hard material.
