This is an POWER transformer made by STANCOR corporation. It measures 2" x 2.5# from center to center on the mounting holes, and 3.5 x 2.5 on the transformer itself. It weighs 3 pounds 13 oz.

This transformer was pulled from an amplifier that drove a 6L6 power tube. (3) 12ax7 preamp tubes, (1) 12au7 preamp, (1) 5Y3 rectifier tube, (1) 6E5 Magic eye tube.

This transformer will also power a 6V6 pushpull 5E3 Fender clone type tube amp. I have made that amp with this pwoer thransformer and it works well and the trannie is very cool and not strained at all.

I have also made a 6L6 GC SE tube amp with this transformer and it works well doing that.

I have tested this transformer and it is as follows:


760 volts center tapped = 380- ct - 380 = red - red stripe - red  120 ma
5 volts  white - white                                                                   2 amps
6.3 volts green- green                                                                  3 amps
6.3 volts brown - brown                                                              .5 amps
