A tour de force of Chinese Artistry - from the carved stone, carnelian, coral and mother of pearl. To the

ingenious framing and presentation of this remarkable Vintage piece. 

A Rare 2-sided art - with 3 sections connected.  The center section measures 23" x 10 1/2". It includes a carved top portion that caps the piece. And 2 side portions that each measure 18" x 5" wide.

There are over 100 separately carved pieces of stone, coral, carnelian and mother of pearl.

Exquisitley placed in such a fashion to create a picturescape. And framed by beautifully black lacquer framing.

The 2nd side - hand painted with a beautiful peacock  And 2 florals - one on either side of the central figure.

Can be placed in a large plate holder or an easel used for displaying paintings. This is a large piece 23" x 21".

Now the things i can see that show its vintage condition.  The top piece with the dragons is loose and I will keep it off for shipping. 

There is one piece of jade that is loose on the left panel.  It is currently wedged in the bottom of the panel.  During shipping it may become loose.

Someone put black tape on the inside of the top two hinges.  You can see in the picture. 

Also the bottom wood piece looks like it was attached to another piece.  See pictures of bottom piece for detail.

Some knicks and lacquer loss which I tried to picture.

But overall a great vintage item

Would look good in the proper setting.
