This Stamp Cover celebrates the 50TH ANNIVERSARY OF THE First Flight from England to Australia by a Woman on 5-24 May 1930. 

The Pilot was a Miss Amy Johnson in a DH60 Gipsy Moth 'Jason' flying from Croydon Airfield to Darwin.

This Celebratory cover was flown on the 5th May 1980 by British Airways from London Heathrow to Bahrain on Concorde G-N94AB then onwards to Singapore arriving 6th May.

On 22nd May aboard Boeing 747 VH-EBN it was flown from Singapore to Darwin then on 23rd May aboard Boeing 727 VH-RML from Darwin to Brisbane. 

The 10p stamp is of Rowland Hill 1795-1879 an English Teacher, inventor and a Social reformer.

It is in a used but very good condition.
