You have never seen the fascinating animal world of Africa like this.This series "Shapes of Africa" consists of official silver commemorative coins that have an opening in the coin surface.Using the cut-out technique, the outlines of the most popular African animals were punched out of the respective motif with great precision.The unmistakable contours and another image of the animal in front of an African landscape adorn the front of these commemorative coins.
All official commemorative coins in the "Shapes of Africa" were minted from 1 ounce of the purest silver (999/1000) in the high Prooflike quality and the impressive diameter of 50 millimeters.The differently sized sections of the animals were compensated for by the respective thickness of the relief.
The coins are high-relief, although
not to the extreme level seen on some other series. That’s fine however,
as we seriously doubt that an ultra-high relief strike would work well
with an aperture through the middle.

The coin comes in capsule including CoA.
