Gibson Les Paul Standard 50s Gold Top P90 2020.

Not a collectors grade but a players grade some scratches and dings but nothing serious check pics out trid to catch them but some you have to turn in the light to see them.

Sold my strat to buy this guitar and modded her up to what I wanted with the following parts>>>>>

Grover Aged Nickel tuners with existing holes fill with wood wax, no mods to the headstock needed apart from the extra holes been filled in with wood wax.

Faber Aged Bridge and studs plus aluminium tailpiece original studs not changed.

Plastic jack socket plate changed out for an aged nickel plate.

Aged switch craft 3-way switch installed, with aged black poker chip ring and switch tip.

Pots and caps changed out for a Bare Knuckle set of 2 volume controls and 2 tone controls. This kit includes 4x Long shaft BKP/CTS 550k 20% audio taper pots, 2x BKP paper-in-oil tone capacitors .022 600v and a length of vintage-correct 20 AWG ground wire. original metal control plate discarded some regard it as a tone sucker?

Pups replaced for Seymour Duncan Aged Antiquity p90 in the Neck and a Seymour Duncan Antiquity Aged Humbucker in the Bridge, slight issue with the lacquer finish lifting when doing the hole routing but for the most part the pickup ring covers this. All rewired with the correct single core braided wire. MY ONLY NIGGLE WHEN ROUTING THE HOLE FOR THE HUMBUCKER SOME OF THE NITRO FINISH LIFTED AROUND THE HOLE EDGE (see pic) IT HAS BEEN GLUED BACK DOWN AND IS STABLE, THE PIC IS A CLOSE UP SO AT ARMS LENGTH ITS HARD TO NOTICE.

Plastics changed from cream to black special order for the aged pup covers and the scratch plate from Mojo guitars in the states, control knobs from Charles Guitars/reflector aged Black Knobs.

Truss rod cover changed to a plain one.

Items retained Cream scratch plate, poker chip, switch tip, p90 fixing plate, p90 pup cover.

and I was happy with the results one killer of a guitar with the Antiquity pups and the black livery on the guitar goes well with the Gold Top. But in the back of my mind lurked the strat lust (this is about the 3rd time this has happened and the last lol) mid March had to undergo hip surgery did not play for a week or more then when I did I just had to have another strat not a gibbo guy after all and cant afford to have more than one guitar so the wife says you have only got one pair of hands some logic in there maybe lol.

Trade with cash your way for a  Fender Postmodern Strat Journeyman Relic. no other guitars sorry guys.

if you have a bid good luck
