The Kosmos series was designed by Berit Ternell, for Upsala Ekeby-Gefle (Sweden) and produced between 1966 – 1977.

Kosmos was one of Gefle's late best sellers. Its designer Berit Ternell was awarded first prize by the Dutch foundation "Gulden Vorm" with the motto: "The Kosmos series is a successful combination of artistic feeling combined with insight into industrial technology"
