Early Victorian Silver Snuff Box 1845 Francis Clark Superb Quality.

An excellent solid silver snuff box by Francis Clark, hallmarked 1845, Birmingham with Queen Victoria Bun Head Stamp. Original gilt wash to interior, good hinge and tight closing. Monogrammed HW in a shield cartouche to the lid surrounded by an engine turned design, which is matched on the base. The lid features a lovely across work thumb piece. Solder residue inside lid corner and a small loss on the left side of the lid near the hinge but otherwise excellent condition.
