This diecast airplane is a replica scaled down of the original stearman that was made in 1931, the stearman is a 4D Biplane. The diecast model is part of the second series of Orchard Supply Hardware and was made by the toy company Ertl and is a Ertl collectible, it was manufactured in 1995 in mexico and advertises Orchard supply hardware. The model is designed as a coin bank and has a 4D design, the box has some wear (see pictures) most likely from water but the plane is in perfect condition and is original packaging. This diecast metal coin bank airplane is an authentic replica and would make a great adition to any airplane colletors collection.
