Piglet sidled up to Pooh from behind. "Pooh?" he whispered.
"Yes, Piglet?"
"Nothing," said Piglet, taking Pooh's hand. "I just wanted to be sure of you.”

Here we offer a delightful modern edition of A.A. Milne's endearing classic, Winnie-the-Pooh, published by E.P. Dutton & Company, New York, and styled after the 1926 first edition.  Originally written by a father for his child, the book is fittingly charming. Densely illustrated by the iconic Pooh illustrator, E.H. Shepard, Winnie-the-Pooh is notable for being the second of the original four books that made up what would become known as the Winnie-the-Pooh series.  It comes complete with its own facsimile of the 1926 first US edition dust jacket, printed with archival inks on acid-free bond. Comes with a facsimile of the original advertising leaflet Milne's UK publisher inserted with Winnie the Pooh.

Book is in lightly-used condition with minor shelfwear (please see pics). 161 pages, measures approximately 7.75 x 5.5-inches.

This delightful children's classic will make a wonderful addition to your collection or a very special and thoughtful gift.
