Vintage 1992 Button Baby Shelf Sitter

Holiday Gingerbread Girl with Hang Tag

Cute brown Gingerbread Girl shelf sitter Button Baby. She still has little red bow and button atop her head. There are wavy lines of icing painted on the sides and a sweet hand painted face with heart cheeks and nose. The neck line is gathered with the white stitching showing .. probably to look like more icing. Her head is a wooden ball that was painted brown with all the other details added. The torso is made of thread spool with brown cloth plush body around the spool. She seems to not have much stuffing around the spool .. kind of a skinny girl. She has arms and legs made of buttons on a string. The buttons are red and white in color with little wooden spools in the center of the legs. 

The Gingerbread Girl still has the original white heart tag with gold foil edge. The tag says : I'm A Button Baby / My name is ............ (blank) and I bring you joy but please remember I am not a toy. My trim and buttons are old and new. I'm glad I found a home with you / Just for You / Anaheim, CA / 1992. The back of the tag does not have a UPC Code .. just some words and a price sticker from Naomi's (local Hallmark Store). The sticker is over the wording but you can see Made in USA / This is Not a Toy. The original price sticker say 18.99.

This little doll is a shelf sitter and the legs hang nicely. She is about 6.25" long from top of head to the bottom of the outstretched legs.

She is perfect for Christmas or the Winter Season.

I will put the vintage Button Baby into it’s own clear baggy and then package the item. The item will be sent in a small box.
