Vintage 1992 Button Baby Shelf Sitter

Holiday Thanksgiving / Fall TURKEY with Hang Tag

Cute brown Turkey shelf sitter Button Baby. He still has little orange crest atop his head and a raffia / straw bow at the neckline. His head is a wooden ball that was painted brown with all the other details added. The torso is made of thread spool with brown cloth plush body around the spool. The backside has three feathers (green, yellow and pinkish cream) attached to a button tail. It looks like they were broken off or maybe cut to this length). The feathers like to stick to the material and some are coming off. He has arms and legs made of buttons on a string. The buttons are different shades of brown and cream with wooden spools in the center of the legs. 

The Turkey still has the original white heart tag with gold foil edge. The tag says : I'm A Button Dollie / My name is ............ (blank) and I bring you joy but please remember I am not a toy. My trim and buttons are old and new. I'm glad I found a home with you / Just for You / Anaheim, CA / 1992. The back of the tag does not have a UPC Code .. just some words and a handwritten $20 allied written in red ink. The back says Made in USA with special help from workshops for the developmentally disabled / This is Not a Toy.

This little doll is a shelf sitter and the legs hang nicely. He is about 6.5" long from top of head to the bottom of the outstretched legs.

He is perfect for the Fall Season and / or Thanksgiving.

I will put the vintage Button Baby into it’s own clear baggy and then package the item. The item will be sent in a small box.
