RARE Vintage 1986 W. L. William Larue Weller 90 Proof Empty Bourbon Bottle ONE LITER!

Selling a hard-to-find empty *1 LITRE* bottle (not the more typical 750mL or 1.75L). It’s a 1986 Weller Special Reserve bottle with the classic WLW logo in a wreath… William LaRue Weller really knew how to make and market whiskey!

Dating it to 1986 as “86” is embossed in the base (see close up photo). The bottom corner of the paper label has a 1941 copyright date on it, I assume this means they were using the same label design for over 40 years.

Has original price gun sticker of $12.79 on it, as well as a mostly intact Kansas red tax strip over the top. Stands just under 12” tall.

Smells like heaven, when the cap is removed, despite the bottle being empty (unrinsed).

Excellent vintage preowned condition as shown, with some minor age-related wear. Selling as-is with no returns, so kindly ask before bidding if you have any questions.
