This preamp WORKS, but has an issue. When powered up  it emits a high frequency tone through both channels. When I first heard it, I shut it down, and connected a sacrificial pair of speakers. Still with the tone, I hooked up a cd player,and it did play through both channels. But the music was accompanied by the high frequency tone. I also tried the mute button, and that didn't seem to work. That being said, this is being sold as is, for parts or repair.
