• Cover inks / gloss: bright, vivid colors; excellent reflectivity
• Cover wear: top staple is detached. Surface tear at top edge, and bottom right corner; also a tiny surface tear at top right edge. one 3/16" edge tear at center top, 1/4" at bottom right
• Cover creases: heavy corner creases at bottom right; vertical reading crease along spine; light 5/8" horizontal crease at top left from spine
• Soiling, staining: possible very light moisture stain evident from inside front cover at top and bottom edges
• Dates / stamps: grease pencil inside letter "T"
• Spine roll: none
• Spine split: 1/2" near top, and at detached staple
• Staples: no rust
• Staple tears: 2x 1/4" at top, front to back
• Rust migration: N/A
• Stress lines: numerous horizontal stress lines along spine; longest is 1/4"
• Corners: slightly rounded, and abraded
• Centerfold: tight
• Interior tears: none
• Paper quality / color: supple; tanned; nice!
• Acid odor: none noted
• Missing pieces: tiny 1/8" piece missing on back cover at top edge
• Amateur repairs: none
• Coupon cut: none
• Readability: excellent; complete
• Back cover: good reflectivity; 1/2" edge tear at top; tiny 1/8" edge tear at bottom left; tanned; trace of adjacent cover attached at bottom left

All things considered, I have graded this book VERY GOOD- (3.5), mostly due to the cover detached at top staple, and corner creases
