Nissan/Datsun Late 240Z-280Z

If you have a good pair of hinge castings then kit includes everything to completely rebuild the hinges of BOTH doors including:

1. 8 specially made brass bushes.

2. 4 specially splined door pins.

3. 4 specially made rivets to hold the cam in place and cam roller.

4. 2 specially made door cam.

5. 1 specially made cam roller which is of a HARDER steel then OEM.

6. Printed general pointers to make rebuilding your hinges easier.

 

This kit offers the following benefits over the standard parts:

1) These hinge bushes used in this kit are made of BRASS unlike the original bushes which were bronze and  wore notches in the door pins as they wear.

2) All parts are made to a slightly closer tolerance then the original items which offers much smother door movement and extends the overall life of the parts.

3) The cam is made of a HARDER steel them OEM to ensure maximum wear life.

4) These parts are specifically designed to fit the Datsun models specified and will not require and drilling or any other modifications to fit.

5) The cam is double zinc plated to ensure maximum corrosion resistance

IF the hinge holes are the original size the hinges will not require any modification to fit these parts.

These parts are specifically designed to properly fit the above vehicles and will not properly fit any other cars!
