MEAN SUITS 18" x 24"


I like the idea of repeating images to reinforce an idea. I often use a male figure in a suit to set up a scenario involving office life, the importance of independent thought and the beauty of breaking free from the mold. This particular piece is meant to be humorous with it's nod to Mean Girls as well as illustrate the idea that cliques seem to follow you even after high school. The popular girls may have morphed into the office executives, but they're often just as self absorbed and elitist.

The background is a lightly textured multi tone cream/grey acrylic wash with figures sprayed in black. The head area is watered down orange/yellow/red acrylic and the text is sprayed in red and black. Hardware attached, ready to hang!
