Thanks __________________________________________________Description This listing is for a beautiful factory original Martin Dreadnought 12C545EC Hard Shell guitar case, which is Martins top of the line case. The case came with a brand new HD28, that was sold with another case. As you can see, the case is in near mint condition. It has the classic deep texture black tolex exterior with a super plush Burgundy / Cabernet Color interior with a padded / stitched leather handle, antique white stitching, and polished brass plated gold type hardware, including six ( not five ) latches. The case also has an arched dome top lid for added protection. There's a lock to secure your guitar while it's being stored or transported and the key is included. The tolex exterior is still like new with no rips or tears etc. The plush interior shows some normal wear but there are no rips or tears in it either. The white stitching on the edge of the lid is slightly crooked near the handle, but it's still intact. These factory C.F. Martin 545 Model cases were made for Martin by TKL of Canada. TKL makes some of the the best cases on the planet including cases for the Gibson and Martin Custom Shop. Like most companies, Martin has recently went up on their prices and some dealers are now selling this case for as much as $699.99 so you can save a lot of money on this one. The case was designed like the original
vintage Geib cases that they made for Martin in the 1950's and 960's. It's the same case that comes with a Martin Custom Shop 14 fret D18VS D28VS and HD 28VS VS Vintage Golden Era GE Series guitars. The case was made for a full size 14 fret Martin Dreadnought type guitar. If you have a 12 fret 00 000 or OM type guitar we have this same case in stock, for those guitars. Please compare the interior dimensions below, with your guitar, to make sure it will fit.
