I am not sure if this is a trash can or an umbrella  stand. You use it for whatever you like. It measures 12 and a 1/2 inches tall and approximately 7 inches across the opening. I believe that it is brass, but I am not a 100%.Sure a magnet does not stick to it. I am also unsure of the age.. It is very tarnished and the inside needs to be cleaned, I do not know what the best solution to use . So I will leave it to the buyer to clean and Polish.. I did not notice any dings or dents, but it does have scratches and scoffs as seen. Please see all photos. Thanks for looking.
