4mm lugs are in pristine condition and ready to be used on the trail, comfort all day provided by a firm but cushioned sole with that bit of bounce to help in keeping the legs going. They are relatively high stack but great for long days hiking or trail running.

 

These are NOT goretex. They WILL get wet in wet weather conditions. I chose this because goretex is not breathable. These are great for summer and I highly recommend getting waterproof socks for winter or any wet weather walking/hiking/running. They worked a treat and shoes were easy to clean and dry less than 24hrs later.

Sizing: I have wider than normal feet and really appreciate wide toe box. These have that but the are good in that they tighten around the mid foot area and keep the heel in lock. Gives confidence on the trail!

They are 10.5 UK size. I tried in store 9.5(my normal) all the way through to 10.5 and was surprised to go that high in sizing but thats what was comfortable with medium thick socks. It allowed me to also have a thin pair of socks and waterproof socks over that without any discomfort at all. Best to find the size in store and get a deal here though...
