OVERVIEW:  Here’s an antique late 19C handmade silver brooch.  It is a figural butterfly handcrafted from intricate filigree.  The eyes are small red cabochons.   Brooch is nicely constructed with sturdy support bars to keep the piece from being bent.  Original tube hinge and C-clasp.  A fabulous antique butterfly brooch.

MARKS:  unmarked; tested & guaranteed silver (at least 800 possibly sterling)

CONDITION:  overall excellent with no breaks, missing pieces, or repairs; one of the red eyes has a small chip.
