VINTAGE 11” RUFFLED GLASS DISH BOWL

It has a generous 22K gold overlay with a gorgeous raised floral design. The opulent shine of the gold overlay is just beautiful. 

The gold overlay is painted on the glass and then "fixed" by firing the glass and then putting it in a solution of gold through which an electrical charge is passed. 

There's a tiny triangle embossed in the glass on the bottom of the dish.  I'm not sure what that denotes. (See next to the last photo)

It would make a lovely fruit bowl or serving dish.  Perfect for entertaining or everyday use.  Even more beautiful in person -  the pictures don't do it justice.
