This unique fermented tea is traditionally grown in China’s Yunnan province, and is believed to have been consumed for nearly 5000 years. 

Pu-erh tea is traditionally said to introduce beneficial bacteria and pro-biotics into the gut, while encouraging blood sugar control, curbing hunger, and assisting in weight management. It is a slightly sweet and floral tea, with earthy undertones that some describe as woody.

Brewing Instructions:

Use quality filtered water if possible to ensure a superior cup of tea. Place 1 teaspoon in 250ml of hot water (95 degrees Celsius) for between 2 and 7 minutes. Experiment with various lengths of steeping time to bring out the desired flavour. Strain and enjoy.
