I'm parting out an original USA/California non-battery1964 Vespa GS 160 Mk2 aka series 2--motor is 1963. All GS 160 parts are compatible to all GS 160 from 1962-64--ok the rear glovebox door being the only exception. All parts are 100% original factory Italian. All GS’s are sourced in USA. Nice thing about scooters found in USA--we don’t use them like riders in Europe or Asia.
Meaning they are generally not used for daily transportation. They are often found with low miles. This is what makes scooters in the USA exceptional. All parts are original Italian factory items unless stated. I try to provide original hardware that goes with parts I sell. Sometimes it's the hardware that's not remade--therefore more difficult to find.
Note about all Vespa GS’s. Unlike other Vespa scooters that shared many parts across Piaggio’s scooter line.
The Vespa GS 150 and GS 160 where unique--that almost all parts were specific only to Vespa GS. On a good note--All GS 150 VS1, VS2, VS3, VS4 and VS5 made from 1955-1962 are almost 100% parts compatible across all years.
The same is true for the GS 160 mk1 + mk2 made from 1962-1964. There are a few crossover parts between GS 150 and GS 160—tail light, headset and speedo. I will combine shipping for more multiply items.
