• Manufacturer: Dalzell Viking Glass Company manufactured the Pouter Pigeon along with the other Gem Series glass animal molds using the original Heisey mold with Permission from HCA: Heisey Collectors of America. Gem Series Animals: 1. Bull, 2. Large (Large), 3. Elephant (Medium), 4. Elephant (Small), 5. King Fisher, 6. Mallard (Wings Down), 7. Mallard (Wings Up) 8. Mallard (Wings Half) 9. Pouter Pigeon, 10. Rearing Horse Bookend. 11. Scotty Dog, and 12. Show Horse. Original Heisey mold was designed by Royal Hickman (see photo information). This piece was made as a figurine only and is marked on one side with “HCA 93” and the other with “D”. The marks indicate that HCA: Heisey Collectors of America had the mold manufactured by Dalzell Viking in 1993
• Color: Lavender Ice. Gorgeous color lavender pink with some blue tints, very similar to Heisey’s Alexandrite made exclusively for HCA: Heisey Collectors of America and limited to 450 numbered sets.
