On offer is an authentic, handsome large vintage NAVAJO hand wrought sterling silver BUCKLE depicting an elaborate two (2) WALKING BEARS fetish design crafted in the overlay technique. It is also adorned with mythic petroglyph designs.

This outstanding NAVAJO BUCKLE is  hallmarked for renowned maker ROSCO SCOTT. It tested positive for sterling silver. We believe this NAVAJO BUCKLE was created circa 1980 or perhaps earlier.

This fine Bear Fetish Buckle was expertly and skillfully crafted with attention to detail in the overlay technique and is in very good vintage condition (see ALL photos for an accurate detailed depiction). The buckle's hook and loop are in good working order.

Overall, this large sterling silver NAVAJO BUCKLE measures approx. 2 7/8" long x  2 1/8" wide. It will fit a belt that is approx 1 1/2" wide and weighs a very hefty 47.2 grams - 1.515 ounces  TOTAL.
