This is a vintage Ruth Norman NY maxi velvety caftan.  It is polyester but has a velvet feel.  Paisley with artistic theme. 

Size medium.  Measuring approximately 20" armpit to armpit and 53 1/2" long.  Side seam pockets on each side.  The buttons are metal and with unique shape/design.
