The 1936 Lowenthal Rattrapante Split Second Chronograph is a vintage luxury wristwatch made in Switzerland. It features a 38mm round case made of yellow gold with a gold bezel and a hinged caseback. The silver dial has arrow markers and Arabic numerals, and the watch has a mechanical manual movement. The watch comes with an original box and a black canvas NATO strap with a buckle closure. The watch is a chronograph with a split-second feature.

I bought the watch on Chrono24 a few years ago from a dealer in Florence, Italy. I was told it was from 1936. The case is solid 18k yellow gold. I have put a textile canvas watch band on it with a gold plated buckle, etc. It does come with the original red watch box in great shape. The watch has a dial that I think is near mint. Just a few blemishes to my naked eye. The watch does need a service. I can wind it and wear it but once I take it off it doesn’t run for a long time. This was obviously put up for a long time and not worn or abused. Happy bidding. I will ship insured.

I’m a reasonable person. Make me an offer.
