An original "Tales From The Tube" surf movie poster, art by the great Rick Griffin.

Rick Griffin (June 18, 1944 – August 18, 1991) was an American artist and one of the leading designers of psychedelic posters in the 1960s. As a contributor to the underground comix movement, his work appeared regularly in Zap Comix.

Griffin was closely identified with the Grateful Dead, designing some of their best-known posters and album covers such as Aoxomoxoa.

His work within the surfing subculture included both film posters and his comic strip, Murphy.

The style of this wave and surfer are totally unique to Griffin during a short period early mid-70's.

I believe this poster is from 1973.

Super nice vintage condition. This is NOT a new reproduction as seen on many e-bay sites.

The poster measures 11" X 21".

Will be shipped rolled in a sturdy tube and insured.
