We test all of the items we sell to ensure they are in proper working order. If they are not, we will note that in the listing. Also, if there are items that we do not test, we will note that as well. We are unable to test items in unopened packages. Therefore, we have no way of knowing whether the batteries have corroded or what the inside condition is. You are taking a chance on these items as we cannot properly inspect nor test them.

Jewelry and gem items are carefully inspected for maker marks and imperfections. Any findings will be included in the listing. Some maker marks are so small that we either do not see them or cannot read them clearly enough to make a claim as to what it says. We do not test metals or gems.
