It is in acceptable condition:
- the covers have heavy wear, rubbing, marks and lifting of the veneer on the front
- inside there are some notes, sums and drawings, including in the diary section
- there are some dog-ears throughout
- some pages have smudges and staining
- p.231 has a missing bottom corner
