A delightful binding, with ornate gauffered text block with painted décor. With the original clasp, engraved ‘Barritt & Co, London’.  

 
A good, clean and solid copy. Additional title page to the prayer book (coloured by hand?). Further printed titles to the prayer book and New Testament. Minor light reading wear only else a nice copy. Very small amount of marginal page wear to the first handful of leaves next to the clasp as is common.

 
 

Bound in a delightful contemporary vellum binding with the original clasp (engraved with London makers mark ‘Barritt & Co’).

Ornate gauffered text block in gilt.

With painted décor to all three edges. Joints with some repairs at some time but solid and sound.

A very handsome binding.
