Very special item! We sell loads of vintage slide projectors but this one is something completely different. We acquire interesting objects from all over the country and sell loads of vintage slide projectors.
This is the Kodak Carousel S-AV 1010 slide projector. Rather than me bore you with a massive long list of tech specs I'd rather you read some reviews from other owners to see just how good this model is. It's still very highly regarded and has something of a cult following so there's plenty of dedicated user groups and even videos on YouTube - definitely worth a look!
We bought this one from a retired sailor who spent forty years in the Royal Navy. The Navy bought it in the early 1960's to view plans but he also used it for pictures of his family while he was travelling the globe. Obviously, life on a ship can be quite rough - not just the other sailors but the movement of the ocean itself...so he hand-built two padded, wooden custom cases for the projector and its accessories. This is a total one-off, a unique item! It gets better....read on to the condition part.
Difficult to price as another working one recently sold on ebay for £80 and one on Etsy for £260 - so not an easy task to set a fair price! I've set it at the very low end as I think whoever's paid £260 for one of these has been 'overcharged'. I think £99 + shipping is a fair price for this considering it's in OUTSTANDING condition, has all the accessories, the custom cases and it's been tested and is fully working.

Condition
This is the best part! As the cases were ALWAYS stored in the wooden cases when not in use it's in mint condition. It honestly looks brand new! I've fully tested it and everything works exactly as it should - its unlikely that you'll ever see one of these in such good shape!

Full instructions are available online as a PDF if you need them). Even though this is a very low price for this machine it's still not a cheap item.
