One of many items I recently acquired from an estate sale. This late Victorian bodice dates to the 1890's and is constructed of a black crepe with an insert at the bust of gold lame with black beaded trim, black velvet criss cross decoration and small gold sequins. It is in remarkable condition with the only major damage to the lining at the front. It has split near the boning of the bodice. Also, there appears to have been a cover that went over the existing collar. Remnants of what used to be there remain. The underarms are good and with a little TLC, this could be worn. The owners name is written inside as "Seaman". Please see all of my listings this week for more items from the same estate sale. Please see all photos and ask and questions PRIOR to bidding. Good Luck!
