This rod is an all steel ash framed body on a fully boxed chassis with steel wings and running boards. Extremely rare body with opening roof. It also has a dicky seat which can be removed if extra boot space is required. The luggage rack can also become a table or seat when attending shows.
Engine is a fully rebuilt Daimler V8 with a modified manifold to take a twin choke Weber. Electronic ignition.
Daimler Borg Warner 35 auto gearbox, fully rebuilt.
Daimler back axle with new disc's and calipers. Mounted on leaf springs with period friction dampers.
Dropped beam front axle with Etype Jaguar hubs. New disc's and new 4 pot calipers. Mounted on leaf springs with period friction dampers.
Under floor Servo / Master cylinder.
Five Daimler steel wheels with new tires.
New alloy fuel tank.
Re-cored Daimler V8 radiator.
It even has a heater !
