What an amazing pair of framed photos, signed my multiple astronauts, in honor of Mickey Mantle. In the mid-1980s, Mantle was a guest speaker for NASA astronauts. Here are tokens of the astronaut's appreciation for two such Mantle appearances.
The photo with the space shuttle is signed by 45 astronauts and says, "To Mickey Mantle - With great admiration for your power and performance - The Nasa Astronauts"
The photo with the space walker is signed by 38 astronauts and says, "To Mickey Mantle - From your fans in DEEP Right Center Field" and then has the caption, "Mick's up... wonder if I'm far enough back..."
These two photos came directly from the Mickey Mantle family, and they come with a signed letter of authenticity signed by Merlyn Mantle, David Mantle and Danny Mantle.
Each 16 x 20 photo is beautifully framed to 22 x 26 using museum glass.
