A solid silver snuff box inscribed with the name of "Amy" and hallmarked for London 1896 by the renowned silversmith George Unite and retailed through Thornhill of London .

Still retains its original gilt interior.

The snuff box is in excellent condition with only a few minor dings and pit marks to the inside of the lid comsummerate with age.

The name of Thornhill & Co. is clearly etched and evident under magnification.

Lid opens and closes firmly .

The etching and machine turniing to the silver work is In superb crisp condition a really lovely example of victorian craftsmanship.
