I am guessing this is marble.  It looks and feels like it,  but the lamp is lighter than I would have expected. I took close ups for you to see. Metal is attracted to magnet so some type of steel.  Has rusting and surface wear.  The harp and finial also have some rusting and surface wear. Pictures should give good idea of overall condition. It weighs 2 lb, 6 oz.
