This is one of two hand carved wooden chairs I am listing. I am 81 and the chairs were in my mother's corner cupboard all my life and then came to me and resided in my curio cabinet. I am now down sizing and have to let some things go. My mother's grandmother grew up on a farm in Lancaster County, PA. The story was that grandmother's parent's hired man carved them for her as a child. She was born in 1852 and that is how I came up with the date. I am absolutely positive that they are authentic and the story is accurate.
