Here we have Officer Big Mac, one member from the McDonaldland pantheon of characters.
This handmade mold poured fiberglass and hand painted
ultra-high bas relief sculpture was made in 1972 by Alfred M. Gordon Designs, Inc. which had been located at 2776 North Cottonwood, Orange, California 92665 and is a manifestation of small cottage industry production.
These were made in small numbers and each example is slightly different as they were all hand worked.
The relief measures 27 H x 20 W x 4 D (at the nose) inches. This was created for and formally hung in a McDonald's store.
