Secondhand electric Hostess Trolley to keep food warm from the 1970s-1980s.  I can't remember my mother acquiring this, but know we had it in the house we moved into in the mid-1970s.  Maybe the hostess trolley didn't come along until the 1980s - ??  And I don't know if it was bought new or handed down from my grandmother, which is very likely!

I would guess it is around 40 years old.  I've used it every Christmas for the last 7 years and it has still kept food piping hot.  I am clearing my father's house now, which is why I'm wanting it to find a new home.

The top slides open by pressing on a little catch each side and pulling left and right, revealing 4 glass pyrex dishes with simple metal lids which just sit on top of each dish.
All 4 food dishes are in good condition, no chips or cracks.

The "cupboard" below has a hinged door which pulls open and flaps downwards - it has the original racks, all in good condition and clean.

It has been used regularly, but not frequently.
Castors rather than wheels mean it can be moved easily over carpet or hard floor.
